Day 1: GENEVA / BEIJING
Departure from Geneva airport by scheduled flight Lufthansa or Air China to Beijing. Meals and overnight on board.

Day 2: Beijing: THE CUISINE OF NORTH
Arrive at Beijing International Airport. Reception and transfer to hotel. Check-in to your hotel and lunch. Visit Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world built at the time of Mao. Visit Temple of Heaven, a former imperial place of prayer for good harvests. Walk-in Wangfujing shopping street. Lunch specialty of Beijing during the visit. Gastronomic dinner "Peking Duck". Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: BEIJING
Breakfast at the hotel. Day excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one human monument visible from the moon. Winding along 6,000 km through the mountains of northern China, the Great Wall is one of the wonders of the world. Lunch during the visit. Visit one of the 13 Ming Tombs. On the road to the Great Wall, a peaceful valley was chosen by the emperors as a place of eternal rest. Thirteen of the sixteen Ming emperors are sleeping here with their empresses or principal wives. We are accessed by the Ming Tombs Sacred Way lined with 36 statues of animals, and human fantasy. Gastronomic dinner GongDeling Restaurant, renowned for its vegetarian meal. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: BEIJING
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Forbidden City, built by Emperor Yong Le in the early fifteenth century, now called Gugong (old palace). Visit The Coal Hill. Lunch during the visit. Discovery of the Summer Palace which is located on the outskirts of Beijing in the afternoon. Opportunity to take a cruise on the lake in summer. Dinner with the residents to enjoy local specialties Beijing Civil. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: BEIJING / JINAN : THE CUISINE OF LU
Breakfast at the hotel. Discovery of the Lama Temple, Confucius Temple and the Forest of Steles. The Lama Temple is one of the largest and best preserved temples of the capital and center of which stands a monumental statue of Lord Ya Buddha, high of over 25 m. Lunch. Transfer to the station. In the afternoon, train to Jinan, capital of Shandong province. Arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. Dinner: Speciality of the cuisine of LU.

Day 6 : JINAN / QUFU : THE CUISINE OF KONG
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by bus to Qufu, the capital of the Confucian world, where the Master was born and where he rests in peace. Site of the "UNESCO since 1994, Qufu was the village of Shaohao (one of five legendary emperors) in ancient times. Shaohao's Tomb is located 5 km northeast of the city. This is the only tomb in pyramid-shaped stone tiles in China. It is the birthplace in Qufu Confucius (551-479 BC), founder of Confucianism, a famous thinker and educator. A Qufu can be found more than 300 historical monuments, the most famous are the Confucian Temple (Kongmiao), the residence of the descendants of Confucius (Kongfu) and the Wood family of Kong (Konglin). Lunch en route on a banquet of Kong Cuisine in a traditional Chinese city.

Day 7 : QUFU / JINAN / SHANGHAI : THE CUISINE OF MIXED CHINESE / EUROPEAN
Breakfast and transfer to the airport of Jinan. Fly to Shanghai. The skyline of Shanghai has nothing to envy of Europe and its stores are sure to get your attention. Arrive in Shanghai. Lunch in town. Visit Old Shanghai and the Yu Garden (16th century) located in the heart of the old town with its pedestrian streets lined with traditional shops. Walk on the "Bund", the center of administrative and commercial once, which offers the best harbor views of the river. Dinner of the cuisine fused. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: SHANGHAI / SUZHOU
Breakfast. Depart from Suzhou. Visit two famous gardens:The Garden of Simple Policy and Master of Nets Garden. Lunch in town. Visit a silk factory. Dinner in town and overnight at hotel.

Day 9: SUZHOU / HANGZHOU : THE CUISINE OF ZHEJIANG
Breakfast. Morning train to Hangzhou. Arriving around noon in Hangzhou. Lunch. Walk in the ship on West Lake. Visit a tea plantation and the Six Harmonies Pagoda. Dinner at Louwailou where we enjoy with La Cuisine Zhejiang.

Day 10: HANGZHOU / CHENDU: THE CUISINE OF SICHUAN
Breakfast. Transfer to Hangzhou airport. Flight to Chengdu. Lunch. Tour of the city.
Visit Wuhou Temple and the zoo to see pandas. Dinner at a restaurant known for the cuisine of Sichuan.

Day 11 : CHENGDU
Breakfast. Transfer to a school of Chinese cooking to learn Chinese food. Lunch at school. Free time in the afternoon. Sichuan Fondue.

Day 12: CHENGDU / GUILIN: THE CUISINE OF SOUTH
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport for flight to Guilin. Meet and transfer to the city. Lunch followed by a visit to the hill of the elephant's trunk and the Cave of the reed flutes. Local specialty dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 13: GUILIN / YANGSHUO
Breakfast. Cruise on the Li River, which offers a picturesque landscape, with unusual shaped mountains sugarloaf formed by water and wind. Lunch on board. Free time in the afternoon. Possibility to discover this lovely place by bike. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 14 : YANGSHUO / GUILIN/ CANTON : THE CUISINE OF CANTON
Breakfast at the hotel. Back to Guilin and fly to Guangzhou in the morning. Arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. Discovery of the great southern metropolis with its lively market Qingping which the Cantonese come at dawn, stock up on food of all kinds. Continued to visit the capital of Guangdong: Temple of Six Banyan Trees, walk in the Yuexiu Park to the Orchid Garden and the Temple of the Chen family which stands permanently a beautiful bonsai exhibition. Dinner specialty of Canton. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: CANTON / HONGKONG
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the boat. Hydrofoil boat to Hong Kong. Arrival in Hong Kong.
Transfer to the hotel. Tour of the city. Free time to discover in Hong Kong with your own experiences. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16 : HONGKONG / GENEVA
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and fly to Geneva. Arriving on the same day.
