On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Moutai Import and Export Company, on November 6th, the first overseas distributor meeting of Moutai was held at Moutai Group. Yuan Renguo, the chairman of Moutai Group, and Li Baofang, the Party Secretary and general manager of the group, attended the dealer conference and delivered important speeches. In recent years, Moutai Group has been closely following the idea of "telling the Moutai story well, expanding brand advantages, and unswervingly expanding overseas markets", deeply practicing the "Nine Marketing Strategies", deepening the implementation of "precision marketing", striving to promote the "three transformations" and "Four Going Global", and accelerating the internationalization of products, brands and markets in overseas markets.

The meeting reported that as of October 31, 2017, Moutai Group had completed the export of 1,622.69 tons of Moutai liquor and its series of liquors, earning 281.2659 million US dollars in foreign exchange. At present, there are a total of 104 overseas distributors distributed in 66 countries and regions across five continents. Products are sold in over 450 duty-free shops at major duty-free ports in more than 50 countries around the world. In addition to short-term promotions, Moutai has also set up long-term Moutai counters at airports in over 20 countries.

Let Moutai stride forward towards the world

Yuan Renguo said in his speech: In 2017, the overseas market construction of Moutai presented three highlights: First, marketing indicators rose steadily; second, market expansion was innovative while maintaining stability; third, market construction was good while maintaining stability. We should adhere to the combination of "going global" and "bringing in", and constantly unleash new potential for development.

Regarding the development of the overseas market for Moutai liquor, Yuan Renguo proposed that work should be carried out around "three combinations" : First, adhere to the combination of "going global" and "bringing in", and continuously release new development potential. Second, it is necessary to combine market expansion with service improvement to continuously stimulate new vitality in marketing. Third, we should combine brand building with cultural promotion to continuously enhance the new charm of Moutai.

At present, the international market development of Moutai liquor has entered a new period. From the perspective of the international economic situation, the world economy has performed strongly this year.

The economies of all major global economies are in a state of growth for the first time in a decade.

The market will cover the entire world within two years

Li Baofang, the Party Secretary and General Manager of Moutai Group, said in his speech: "With the continuous support of our numerous distributor friends, Moutai's overseas market has been growing and expanding." Li Baofang said that Moutai Group should take advantage of the new era's favorable conditions, navigate with new concepts, and unswervingly expand its overseas market.

In over 220 countries and regions around the world, we can develop the Moutai market in approximately 160 countries and regions. Besides having established distribution channels in more than 70 countries and regions, there are still nearly 90 blank markets. In the future, the goal of "breaking through 100 in two years" is to establish marketing channels for Moutai in over 100 countries and regions within the next two years.
